The branch holds an Introduction to Bee Keeping course in the spring, a two day course which has proven very popular especially for those starting out. The course is held at our teaching apiary in East Malling.
Dependent on numbers we also run a very successful Beginners course each year from late January to March, which will provide you the necessary training to pass the BBKA Basic Beekeeping examination held at the branch apiary shortly after course completion. To complete the exam you do need to have kept bees for a minimum of a year.
